The Doctoral School in Arts and Aesthetics, University of Aarhus, in cooperation with the Copenhagen Doctoral School in Cultural Studies, Literature and the Arts and European partners from the network, are organising an International Seminar, to be held from June 16-21, 2007 on the topic: "World Literature and World Culture: Histories, Theories, Analyses". The International Seminar is designed for doctoral candidates in any field of literary studies. It will offer students the opportunity to give papers in a relaxed and productive atmosphere and the chance for intensive discussion of their research projects. Students of the other arts may apply. Participants will also be invited to attend a symposium on the seminar topic which will feature internationally renowned speakers.
